Does America love blacks? The Indigenous? People of Color? Members of the LGBTQ+ community? Women? Because the answer is a resolute "no" we are in this fix today. I don't want to return, go back or re-live. I want a country were all beings matter. End of rant.

This is a nation that built a massive prison complex based on the drug war, a war against its most vulnerable citizens, legalized torture, built a massive surveillance state, and have reliable traded away liberty for safety. Fight for the future - not the past.

It is up to us, but not sure we can return to where we were without also making certain changes to preclude another debacle like this one. Strengthen checks & balances, reform campaign financing, crack down on insider trading, eliminate gerrymandering, promote ranked choice open primaries, et alia.
