I gave up in the beginning of the second season. The adult part was not working for me.

My problem is I want it to be a grounded drama about ‘90s teens surviving a disaster paired with a grounded drama about the kinds of adults that might create, but I think the creators want it to be those things + supernatural thriller + murder mystery + family sitcom and that’s too many things.

Overall I don’t think the show is bad, though the S3 premiere felt particularly disjointed and tonally incoherent. I just think I want it to be something it clearly isn’t.
