He made no contact with the ball though and brought Isak down as he was shaping to shoot (or at least touch the ball again). If it was against us, I'd honestly think it was penalty too.

I agreed with the commentators. I think if Isak had the ball for a couple more steps I'd agree but he didn't. Just goes to show you how hard these decisions in a split second are.

Isak didn't have the chance to have the ball a couple more steps cos he was brought down though! A foul is a foul - Isak could be running onto a ball and never touch it and still be fouled.

If the ref didn’t award a corner, I’d agree, but when he did, he also showed that he thought the defender got the ball. He didn’t, so must be a penalty

I watched with Norwegian commentator, and thought that guy must be the only person on earth stating that this was a 50/50 situation. Can’t believe that also English commentators stated the same.
