Beautiful. It brings back a memory of 40 years ago, first hearing it at my Tadcu's (grandfather's) house. He was sat in his chair next to the open fire, eyes closed, with this on the tape player. When his eyes opened, they were tearful. A miner from the age of 13, music was in his soul.

Love this beautiful song ❤️❤️❤️. The story of the composer Joseph Parry is an amazing one. He was a child coal miner who couldn’t read or write until he went with his family to Pennsylvania where by chance he learned to read music and eventually became the first professor of music in wales
