Tough listen but on Trump and Brexit we have to try to understand why people feel the way they do. Trump supporters can’t all be dismissed as bad people - we have to let them explain their rationale. Just arguing with them from minute 1 doesn’t help us understand their motivations and combat him.

Sorry Alastair, try as I might , I couldn't get through it, despite being a brief encounter. The gaslighting, the twisting of facts (alternative ones) the attempt to re-write the Trump persona. It was verbal diarrhoea from start to finish. Trump 💯 has no friends, his wife 💯 hates him.

It seemed to me that his main (implausible) argument was that however awful a human being Donald Trump is, he understands and relates to the experience of working people and the policies of the Republican party, which has chosen him as its representative, are better for them and for their country.

Could your IT peeps keep the episode numbering across the different platforms? We switch between YT and podcasts so it is sometimes difficult to find which episodes we have already seen or listened to as they are named differently between platforms sometimes. Also happy to pay more for early YT eps.
