Nobody actually "resigned" and left their jobs. Anyone who took that offer agreed to keep working through the summer.
I think better messaging is that our resources are already strained and this will only make it worse. Saying that Musk killed the people is inaccurate and will lose credibility.

Look, maybe you're right--we'll see if this is the best messaging. But as I understand it, the two sides operate asymmetrically. There is a reason that all the "fake news" sites are right-leaning. Mirroring their tactics won't necessarily work.
We are in a fight against fascists taking over this country. The above actions objectively make this country less safe. You either hang this tragedy on them to try and stop them. Or, as you seem to prefer, you can just sit on your hands and wait for more people to die.
Adapt or die.
I get that we're at war. We need better tactics. But that doesn't automatically mean that you have the best one. There may be a way to get across a similar sentiment that gets more people behind you. Don't mistake rage for strength.

Go hard negative emotionally, but build it around something true enough to be plausible or else you'll lose the center left.
Adapt or die.
b) Look up the origin of the phrase "going postal"; you don't have to lose your job to have on-the-job stress become bad enough to impede function.
