EMBRACE the FACT that animation is a valid art form and make cartoons for all ages. NO that’s doesn’t mean just make raunchy comedies or inject sex into it, spongebob adventure time gravity falls ATLA etc all were major hits because it appealed to kids AND adults
It’s not stupid when you realize these right wing monsters see cartoons and childhood entertainment as a threat to their preferred order of things. Kids can learn things from cartoons and some of those things go against the type of things parents and fascists want like confirming and obeying
I said earlier today that this and the fact that they're going back to calling it "HBO MAX" lets me know that the billionaires in charge of shit don't know WTF they're doing.

Part of the value of TV was the audiences only had so many places to go, the money for TV kinda dipped when cable exploded.
Having less to offer for a whole family is what makes it so easy to cancel one service and go to another.
