Historically voters see border enforcement and treatment of immigrants already here as separate matters. They want strong border enforcement, but they want immigrants already here treated humanely. There is no precedent for Trump's terrorizing of immigrant communities to have broad support.

Wow. New Quinnipiac poll finds Trump's approval at 38-54. And note this:
Trump approval on immigration: 43-54
Approval on his deportations: 40-56
Can we say Trump isn't winning on this issue yet?

I didn't grow up hearing anti-LGBT messages though. I heard the "love one another" stuff at church.
So, I guess I haven't changed either!

Expect another provocation. Will Trump deploy Marines in Chicago? Sic HSI/ICE on legal protesters again? Quit NATO?
Trump will do anything to distract us from his failing murder-budget, Epstein, corruption, and bad polling.
Will we fall for it again?
These last two days have felt like two months. The trendline isn't going to improve any time soon.
The numbers have to continue to decline and he must be asked about them repeatedly if there’s any hope of him learning the truth.
21-70 (a poor 41-53 even among Dems!)
Just a wee bit of room for improvement, if they'll show a little spine and fight.
When extreme conservatives hear "immigrant criminals" they think of anyone who crossed the border without paperwork.
Or at least I hope they are.
All racism is bad, don't get me wrong! But folks like Miller and his cadre make it a lifestyle.
Dime-store Goebbels, indeed
