Man, I feel more sorry for Ukrainians than I do my fellow Americans right now. Most Americans voted for the chaos we’re all about to experience. Ukrainians had no choice in the hell they’re living through right now.
I wish them luck with that. Don’t these fools know any history, at all. Maybe WWII America right up to 12/6/41. Or, more recently 9/11/2001? It’s always an American problem. Taiwan is next.
Do you think Poland gets annoyed at History repeating itself? Still, it's going to give me a little comfort that Estonia has literally never stopped preparing for this, and also Russia is actually pretty terrible at war and holding new territory historically.
Putin wants no NATO nations at his borders and that's why he has to absorb the buffer state of Ukraine so that he shares a border with...wait a minute. What's going on here?
Yes, a lot of people grossly misread Putin's intentions, including Trump himself, it seems. A good play from our adversaries' perspective might be to try to create an increase in oil so that costs go above $4/gal under Trump so that everybody points fingers at each other. Chaos the goal.
*totes sarcastic laugh with a touch of bitterness and resentment because living in interesting times is not for the faint of heart and why can't it be boring for a little bit longer...will settle for less interesting.
I’ve already been here for quite a while and keep wondering why Republicans keep trying to turn this country into a China/Russia mashup. It didn’t go well in the 1960s, it’s not going to go well now.
It is what it is. It is time for Europe to get their shit together and arm Ukraine with all they got. They can maybe also buy weapons from US and arm Ukraine that way.
Trump will, but they will still have support from Europe and will likely continue fighting, at least for the near future. Not sure how long they could hold out though, but they have exceeded all expectations so far in their fight against Russia so I wouldn't bet against them.

But I 100% agreed with you
