I've been seeing videos of town halls in ruby-red districts getting heated over this. A lot of these people seemed to think only "those other people" would be impacted by the cuts.

Just wait until they see what happens when they lose KanCare, SoonerCare, etc when the underlying Medicaid is cut.

Local news is a well designed propaganda tool that keeps important things far outside the perimeter average Americans attention span. Ask 100 WalMart shoppers who Merrick Garland or Jack Smith is. None of them will know both. Or even 1.
