Trump is famous for using NDAs. He pulled that on his niece, Mary, when he screwed her out of millions of dollars. Donald was the estate trustee when Mary's dad died. Since the NDAs were covering up Trumps fraud, they were not legal. She writes aoout it in her book "Too Much and Never Enough."
