Not to mention parents who sit in cars for 10/15/20 minutes leaving their cars running while they're waiting.. It always amazes me. Even without the climate crisis, petrol/diesel must be very cheap wherever they're getting it!!

Driving half a mile to do the school run, sit there with the engine running, cause chaos and complain it isnt safe for the children to walk to and from school because of the traffic

Yesterday the car behind me at the lights was a well-dressed woman in a BMW (of course) chuffing on a fag with two young girls in the car.
Diesel and nicotine. Think of the concentrations.

Electric vehicles are the way to go here as one generally doesn't use the brakes at all when driving an EV due to regenerative braking that doesn't use the braking system/pads very often.
