Let me break it down for you: Met Eireann uses km/h. Met Office uses mph. I am using their units because I am quoting their forecasts. But my editorial standard is knots (what tropical-cyclone technical documents use), and it's what my followers expect in my posts.

The Isles, as you display them are not "British", as, The Republic of Ireland is a sovereign European country and, therefore, NOT "British".
