Tropical cyclones are rare in SE #Queensland (i.e., from K'gari (Fraser Island) to the NSW border, including the Sunshine Coast, #Brisbane, & Gold Coast). But there was huge, freak burst of them in the early 1970s: DORA 1971, ALTHEA 1971, DAISY 1972, EMILY 1972, WANDA 1974, & ZOE 1974! #ALFRED
