He showed me a chart from this guy's book "How to Thrive with ADHD" with the links between so much of this stuff in ways I haven't seen medical professionals ever acknowledge. Will have to pick that up too.

Yes, as I understand it he explicitly mentions gut inflammation as a connected thing in his book.

There is higher prevalence of UC among those with ADHD, but hard to say if this is due to stress, environment, etc. It’s one of the conditions mentioned briefly in Kurstow’s book. The correlation with PoTS, hypermobility, EDS, ME/CFS might be too high to just be environmental, he was suggesting.

I knew hypermobility was connected, but only through community. It's rarely acknowledged by doctors. But I'm learning about more of the connections every day!

That’s interesting. My POTS doctor is very insistent on a link between migraine & POTS, & also hypermobility, but I didn’t know about an ADHD link too

Yes he’s one of a very few cardiologists who even acknowledges POTS existence - but admits we don’t know much about these overlapping conditions (partly because they’re so predominantly female & so not taken seriously)

I found out about Kurstow from this podcast episode. It’s really striking. Yes this is the problem, it's something that has been identified in the community but there's been next to no actual research on it so we're flying blind on ways to help ourselves about it all.
