Posting this now as the new cat tree comes with an Allan key that is slightly too big to fit in the bolts. In a previous era, this would have been a problem. Now, I can smugly head to tools cupboard.

what i love is that, here in the states, hardware stores sell allen key sets in both imperial and metric that are all on one thing? so it's not even a bunch of them, you just fold out the one you need

got a metric one to make it easier to build ikea stuff and it's genuinely been a lifesaver

I have this set that is a full range of metric and imperial in this folding case. They are also extra long arms, to get those hard to reach places and better grip overall. It's a dream.
