It was in a really old cookbook. I should have copied the recipe. It seems as if people may have made some sort of food sauce from whatever they had available. At the store, lately, I've seen different kinds, though some are tomato with interesting additions.
Not the green walnut one. But I've seen a variety of others lately. To be honest, green walnut seemed kind of weird when I saw it. I mean, who thinks,"Gee, I think I'll see what I can make out of immature walnuts."? But the folks a long time ago might have had imagination we lack.
Oh good point; same here. I looked it up and I'm like, oookay, hehe 😬🤮. Them guys either had imagination or maybe they were a bit...uh...perhaps...you know. 😵💫🥴🤣
