There are some writers whose books I will always buy, no matter what genre they go into, because I know they'll deliver a solid story. Walter Jon Williams is one, Kay Kenyon is another. Ann Leckie's another. Who are some of yours? #booksky

@naominovik.bsky.social, @annleckie.com, @nkjemisin.bsky.social, @levgrossman.bsky.social—and I’m still fairly new to @aptshadow.bsky.social and @marthawells.com, so I have catching up to do, but I am stoked to do it
If you're back here (and Surrey—where we met, briefly—isn't far!), drop me a note. And if you're a knitter/fiber person, Northwest Yarns is another reason to visit.
Just thought of another: @deborahblakeauthor.bsky.social, I love her writing. I normally "meh" mysteries (blame an overdose of Agatha Christie while abroad with limited English book options), but when Deborah Blake started a series of mysteries, I jumped on it so hard, and was NOT disappointed. 💜
Lois McMaster Bujold, T. Kingfisher, Tamsyn Muir. I should probably add Martha Wells too, although so far I've only read Murderbot. But I'm looking forward to reading her other books soon!
