Spotted hyena genitals, by the way, are really interesting. The females have a pseudopenis, sure, but they have no external vulva. The vagina is accessed by them choosing to retract their pseudopenis, essentially scrunching it up so the male can access the vagina through it.

Yup. I misremembered. The tricky thing about beaver sex is the absence of sexual dimorphism or external genitalia. They have to run blood tests for an accurate ID.
