For tracking the team and socializing? The other things I follow are quickly accessed via X. But there are other ways for me to support those creators / follow. I am also so tiny on X it would not matter either way if I left. I call it my visual RSS feed.

fairly certain elon is trying to radicalize everyone on twitter, every post with over 50k likes is just shitty right wing talking points. I know that twitter was always a politicized shithole, but ffs at least when elon didnt own it you would get relatively equal exposure to both sides in politics

Yeah, I know we're not quite up to the volume of content/people that Twitter had, yet, but in some ways, that's a good thing.

People have to understand that people make up these communities, and that moving away from an unsatisfactory one makes the one they move TO more improved.

I was thinking the exact same thing. That button was used as a way to try and make sure that you were safe from unsavory folks and now that is no longer a thing.
