Hey guys! Please describe the evolution of what you wear on stage, from your first open-mic to the present day. And did anyone give you advice on how to dress?
Did either of you have a huge near miss in your career, such as Tom Selleck missing out on Indiana Jones because of his Magnum PI contract? Was Josh almost an assistant coach for Craig T. Nelson? Was Andy almost partnered with Nick Nolte in 48 Hours?
Not a question. I leave MST3K and Cinematic Titanic on as my comfort food TV at home, and never miss Thought Spiral. So I get teenage Josh with my morning coffee, and AARP Josh on my commute. Love youse boat
Hey guys, for the next show: what do you think of Mulaney's Netflix show? I think it is funny and inventive. Would love to see you guys, Maron, Patton Oswalt, and attorney Gerry Spence on there (if Gerry is still with us). Keep up the good talks. When they don't put me to sleep, they keep me awake.
Hey guys, I want to recommend a local rising comedian out of Colorado. By way of Minnesota / North Dakota area. It's not quite clear, but I understand it's near Brainerd Lake. Anyway, the fella's name is Michael Floorwax, and he's here tonight. 🌄
Thanks Frank, that was a great intro.
Go sleep it off, it will all be OK in the morning (rising, cacophonic laughs...)
Anyway I'm Floorwax, taking over Frank's account for the night. Ask me anything.
Thank you both for providing a safe space to spiral out during these spiraling times.
Question: What was the etiquette for open mics when you were coming up? Was it gauche to leave right after your 5 min? Did you have a favorite open mic?

I did enjoy hearing your bride during the break
Also, how about some Sad Lisa, Cat Stevens?
