This is just window dressing. We are faced with a breach that is spreading across government. Writing letters and legislation that will be ignored does nothing. Why are these people allowed to do this while Congress is locked out of buildings? Why not arrest these folks if they are breaking the law?

I think Sean is trying to do good by boasting that he's 'attempting' to do something about this. And so are the upper dem consultants. But even if they ARE doing something legit, they're not communicating it well. The reality is, they come across weak. And we want loud & obvious results.

I appreciate this effort. I hope the language addresses tracking the stolen data to understand its footprint and how it's being used after a breach. These are critical in-scope data management issues that touch on a variety of sensitive domains, including national security.
