Jesus christ BlueSky just added gif support and it's miles better than Twitters despite using the same source. Gifs show up in preview at the same speed and res they do in your post? No more posting and finding out the gif you used was trash.

As soon as this app adds in the ability to save where you were in your timeline, instead of working from newest tweet backwards, it will be complete (for me). I just want it to save where I was, especially if I don't check here for a few days and can't remember what the last tweet I saw was 😭
Weird, was showing as working in the preview. It was webp instead of gif so maybe that was the issue, but weird to have it work in the preview and not in the actual post.
