Now I’m just picturing Irv walking in and saying “what’s for dinner kids?” And the studio audience laughing and clapping like it’s an episode of Cheers
I feel like this episode was unlike any other. It was dynamic but felt outta place. Like they just messing with us at this point. It better story telling than I could ever do but this episode came outta nowhere
I feel like the pace and cadence of this episode was unique to the rest of the show. Most likely due to a new director. Maybe. It was just off for me. But what do I know?
I had the same thought. I deeply respect and appreciate the risks they’ve taken this season, but this show also works very well as (pretty nearly a) workplace comedy.
I think (I hope) that by giving everyone the answers to the puzzle box so quickly they can reset and get back to basics and give us more of The Office by way of Terry Gilliam's Brazil
It’s still so good but definitely an increasingly stressful watch. Between Severance and The Pitt, my Thursday and Friday evenings aren’t necessarily as relaxing as maybe I’d prefer right now given… everything. Still avidly watching though of course
Haven’t watched this weeks ep yet, but I was thinking the same thing watching last week. Its all great, but I think I just like the inny stuff better than the outty stuff.
