Lawyer here. A friend got an “offer” from one of these outlets and asked me to review the “contract.” It literally lacked any clause requiring them to give her money. Two pages, zero required disclosures, host of one-sided protections. RUN AWAY, FOLKS.

In response to ProPublica's investigation, the company overhauled its policies. Their franchises are now required to provide prospective home sellers with a disclosure that includes a three-day window to terminate a sales contract.
