Interesting. If they succeed, the Missouri GOP would control the police force of both major cities in Missouri. Coincidentally, they're major Democratic strongholds. I wonder what they might do with that power? ( side note: Why are our comments limited to a certain number of characters here?)

Once again a state’s Republican legislature is trying to take control over Democratic leaning areas. Democrats in the Missouri state legislature need to fight back. Fight to push back this crooked Republican power grab.

They do what they can, but the GOP has a supermajority and has for years now. The problem is some districts don't even have Dem opponents. When the DNC centralized their focus on key states, they left states like MO high and dry.
