Let’s remember that Montana was deeply “purple” until the 2020 election. This stuff happened under a “balanced” state government. Admittedly the sitting on records happened after the reds took things over in 2021, but this guy practiced for 24 years before he got fired and the board got involved.

This is why the corpo practice of medicine doctrine and loss of chance doctrine need to be federally recognized. The states don’t have the capital to enforce safe healthcare standards.

Medical boards protect doctors. I know of one here in Washington, who killed two elderly patients and hired un unlicensed drug addict to treat patients. Medical board gave him a slap on the wrist - twice. Later learned he was at the center of the pandemic outbreak here.
