Bonk build. Focus on STR and get enough endurance to wield whatever combination of weapon and armour you want.

The sheer amount of hilarity that comes from a strong unga bunga build just knee-capping every boss is just amazing.

Also, STR adds to your physical defense, funnily enough.

Y'know?! I haven't given a Mage build a shot at all! Was interested in trying out this one build idea: a Mage build that uses only magic swords (Carian Slicer, Carian Greatsword, etc.). Like a mage paladin type build!

I've done int+str before and it's fun as well as faith+dex. An int+dex build sounds ripe for being the slimiest wizard around, a real arcane trickster

OMG yeah! Being VERY squishy and VERY open to getting one-hitted (unless your Vigor was like, bonkers high)! I can only IMAGINE how glass cannon-y that can be, but also crazy fun and intense! XD

I've never played Elden Ring so I have no suggestions, but I usually end up trying to build some kind of spell caster/fencer mix in these kind of games.
