A big cat sanctuary in Washington has temporarily closed after a devastating bird flu outbreak killed most of its animals, some rapidly after they developed pneumonia-like symptoms, the director said.

Serious question.. if you were a public health professional would you act? Knowing MAGA’s plan for Fauci and anyone else who would propose a scientific medical approach to an outbreak.
This is horrid news and should be a wake up call but sadly too many self appointed experts would rather politicize this and once again miss the fact the world is about to see another virus jumping species and we are in danger of an even worse pandemic.

If America stopped creating private zoos comprising and concentrating other countries’ protected species, that would be a good start towards prevention 🤦🏻♀️
