You are allowed to do whatever you like, of course! I will say I was there for a long time but almost everybody I was following wasn't posting anymore. I think a lot of people have left.

I am a little disappointed Cara isn't fulfilling that need though. I have one but I haven't been using it much.

I think you should, because let me tell ya that it has been the greatest year I been posting amazing art at DA and yeah I earned my first DD, which it's a huge honor ✨️✨️✨️ So yeah you need a give it a chance 🙌

However, regarding there's ai arts there, but you can turn the switch to not see any ai art at the timeline and everything on Popular section and what your in some groups 👍

My impression is that it's mostly kids now and overrun with AI... unfortunately, I don't think our peers are there anymore but I could be wrong.

Seems a few of us are taking advantage of the platform, the block features seem.. better. I was fully expecting to be slapped in the face with a ton of NSFW fetish art and AI, but I've been able to block most of it

I would give it another chance! Build your watch list, block everything AI, and eventually you’ll get tons of real art to look at everyday. But yes, be very very very liberal with the block button.
