Drawing/writing something yourself will always take effort but gets easier (and skills improve) the more you do it. Ai is a shortcut that leaves you reliant on the program entirely.

There will come a time when you see, read, like something, and you won't know it's ai. You may even like it a lot. It will become harder to spot and more ingrained. But the issue at the bottom line is always that it's stolen work. Uncredited, 404 permission not found, ripped off.

I always check to see if it's an actual artist anytime I see cool art or creations, and it started before AI, because there were scammers stealing the images and work of artists. AI is arrogantly flaunting the fact it's stolen.
