Dems care about people. Stopping caring about people is not what we want from them. While Rs have power, we're gonna have to cut them a tiny bit of slack to do the best they can. In 2 years, we're going to need stories of how they fought for people to take back the house (and get shit done right.)

How exactly does one pick and choose? Every district is bound to have a mix of people who voted one way or another, plus some who didn’t or couldn’t vote, plus some who aren’t eligible to vote (children, non-citizens, people in prison, etc)

You can’t just throw a whole district under the bus.

The disconnect for me is people who say “why don’t you fight like the Republicans” who don’t recognize or don’t care that Republicans fight differently because the consequences of bad governance are not a problem to them and in fact redound to their political benefit
