When you consider the tariffs and Trump's musings about the greatness of the Gilded Age, you can see where this is going:

They want to end or drastically reduce income taxes, and the social safety net (Social Security, Medicare, Mediaid) paid for with income taxes.

They want to erase the New Deal.
