I remember a friend talked me out of buying an Amstrad 286 PC (VGA / Sound Blaster) that we saw at a ham radio show for 100 pounds. It would have been ideal for playing games like that.
You know, for a studio quite literally founded by George Lucas, attached to Lucasfilm and now Disney, it's pretty surprising that none of the LucasArts (original) games & franchises were ever turned into a movie.
I remember dying, the game over dialog showing, and then bouncing back up onto the screen cos you fell on a "rubber tree".
