Even with a 9yo and 6yo, still finding out things that I just assumed they knew/understood, but then when they ask, you’re like, of course, how would they know that without someone telling them
My then-6 year old was gobsmacked to learn that just because something is in a book doesn't mean it happened in the real world. Kiddo legit thought that "The Hobbit" was a historical document.
I thought adults couldn’t run, because my parents never ran even in moments I deemed urgent. When I watched the NBA, I was like “those are the chosen ones. adults who can are selected to play for the hornets.”
