When we lived in Cambridge, many years ago, we had a pure white cat,Girly. She was an indoor cat but sat in the window when it snowed and wanted badly to go outside. One Sunday we took her out. She stepped off the porch onto the walk, felt the cold snow on her paws. Meowed. Threw up. Ran back inside
We live in San Diego so no snow but our cat Riley loves to bird watch. We have blinds that look similar to your with strings. He doesn’t like blinds pulled down because it hampers his view so he’s chewed through all the strings in the blinds he can get to so he can get a “Birds Eye view.”
Years ago Tom, I took my young daughter to see 'The Polar Express' in 3D at the Metreon in San Francisco. I turn to look at her at one point in the movie and she's trying to catch 3D snowflakes on her tongue. "That's some good 3D," I said to myself.
Maybe Lily is where she wants to be - inside where it's warm & thinking cat thoughts - ".. if he takes me outside and I freeze my cat tail off, he will suffer the consequences...

❄️ It's risk and reward time Tom.
It snowed Friday in Atlanta for the first time in forever. When my little dog first saw through the storm door that everything outside was covered with this weird white stuff, she barked at it. She didn’t like it any better when I tried to take her out in it.

Wrap her in a warm blanket, take her outside and let her catch one.
