I think I’m gonna get a Steam deck once I’m employed again. Gonna be many days where I’m gonna come home and all I wanna do is be in bed and not in a chair. And I think a Steam deck is perfect for that lol
I have a switch that I haven't used since animal crossing 🥺 I probably should but I don't find myself as interested in their games for some reason. I will try again at some point 😭

Yeah I think the devs really worked hard to optimize it for the steam deck. I remember it used to be classified as “playable” but now it’s steam deck verified ☺️
omg then it's totally worth it imo! most games run pretty well on the steam deck and there are some titles that also work fine even if it's not technically steam deck verified! ive heard that more graphic-intensive games might be a bit slow so you'd have to adjust the settings for them though
That's all good! I'd likely still use my consoles for those types of games but yes I think it would be so good and especially for like plane journeys too 😭😭
I partly want it just to be mobile while playing some of the longer games but at same time i prefer big screen for most of my games so i also don’t want it….
The mobility is definitely a big sell for me too - i often travel back to where I used to live to see family etc and it would just mean I can game more often. Also same on holidays too! But depending on the game i'd still prefer console for sure!

We operate on a rotating schedule. I get it on Mondays and Wednesdays and you get it Tuesdays and Thursdays and then we alternate weekends.
Also, the Switch 2 is on the horizon and that's already in the budget
