It feels like every little thing is picked apart in games these days - graphics, mechanics, story... nothing ever seems to be good enough.
Video games are supposed to be fun and I think a lot of people have forgotten this.

Ok I’m cool now
It's ruined gaming imo.
Streamers looking for views has been far more destructive imo.
And the idiots that drink up their lame takes.
Which I think is ludicrous in a F2P game.
I was just thinking I'm glad social media wasn't around back in the day so that we'd have to endure decades of gamers telling the industry everything they do is wrong and nothing is ever enough.
Critique absolutely, but every released game despite flaws was worked on very hard.
Nuance is just completely gone. Games are either trash or the best thing ever. 10/10 or unplayable. They need to shut up and have fun!
I’ve strayed away from reviews and all that, bc it taints your experience. ✨💜
Offended an old guy was killed by a young woman? Good - don't play...Naughty dog didn't make the game for you
Currently doing that with DA: Veilguard. Really should've kept the original name: The Dread Wolf.
Tough to achieve.
There’s a difference though in being always super negative versus sometimes critical about the things you love/hobbies etc.
I rarely go on YT unless it's to support people I've met on here or watch trailers, the place is infested with grifters now!
And also personal attacks should be where a line is drawn!
And yes! People also really need to understand that there’s a difference between constructive criticism and disrespect. I stand by that 100%! 🙂
I try to rate (when I do reviews) on 10 point scale...and I'm honest. 10 is perfect or near Perfect...very few games have that. and yes there are plenty that have a 5 or 6 but I would still play them!
I just enjoy what I enjoy and to heck to negative Nancies.
