If you want to eat the most expensive eggs you’ve ever had in your life, you should have backyard chickens.

Don’t get me wrong, I love them and have raised them, but they are an expensive hobby.

I’ve raised sheep but always avoided chickens because of how much work chickens are to keep happy and healthy. Anyone who thinks keeping chickens is cheap and/or easy has never been around chickens.

Not to mention what a great way to bring the bird flu directly to you. This way you can get sick and potentially die, this way you can watch the chickens that you love get sick and die and if your cats get the bird flu, you can watch the cats you love get sick and die. Fantastic solution MAGA

Not everybody has a backyard. Not everybody has a backyard in a city that allows keeping chickens. Building winterized coops is expensive.

I had chickens for years and they are alot of work. Not to mention the predators you will attract to your property. I haven't seen a snake sense I got rid of the chickens. Scraping out the the chicken crap is worse than pigeons
