Everyone from my Uber driver to the carwash cashier today has remarked that only rich people were affected in LA and so they'll be fine. Not their fault. The coverage is addicted to stories of celeb losses. But Altadena is home to an economically and racially diverse community who need your help.

Even the Palisades had a lot more economic diversity than it seems on the news. Not to mention all the working class people who were employed full time working as landscapers, housekeepers, etc. for the rich people. The impact is enormous.
