This is unsurprising in that DC went almost 90% for Harris/Vance and the right has always hated DC independence to the extent that we even have it. If passes, this would be a grave civil rights violation that will affect the schools, wages, healthcare of everyday people.

Before I went to work for MoveOn, I volunteered for Hurricane Housing post-Katrina to open homes to people who had lost everything.
