They’ll try, but it ain’t happening.

It’s 2003 again. I remember being one of the few voices then cautioning against a massive invasion of Iraq, and on Fox and elsewhere I was accused of being unpatriotic and against democracy.

What bothers me the most is that with every military action that creates instability in a region, the women and children end up suffering worse and long term. Iraq. Afghanistan. No one ever stays long enough to create an environment that helps marginalized groups.

The initial support for Iraq was predicated on an attack on US soil. There is no attack this time. And even then, it evaporated in 3 years.

I think in some ways, America never recovered from 911. In its aftermath, we did give a leader the benefit of the doubt, gave Bush ninety percent approval, and it was disastrous for us. It can be easy to see why people want division when unity was disastrous in recent history.

I would ask Mr Levin, if someone wanted to "get behind" this president, how is it done? Because he changes his position every 12 hours.
Unlike Tariffs and ICE raids, you can't change your mind once you drop bombs/get US military killed/start a war.

I joined the military in 2002 while the Bush administration was making the case for war in Iraq. I was only 18 and I knew what was happening. Its amazing that we are literally repeating history from nearly a quarter of a century ago.
