Scheldestraat, Amsterdam in 1980 and today. There is no need for wide 4 lane roads in cities anymore, particularly when you have a modern 30kph speed limit. The road has been reduced to one lane in each direction and space used for cycle lanes, outdoor dining and cycle parking.
