I do think it's interesting that they reused so many track connections (cheep cheep falls <-> dandelion depths is used in 3/16 sets)
it either means that other ~100 connections are lame as hell or that theyre encouraging us to explore all the connections on our own, I think its the latter

I wonder if there'll be a way to make our own custom grand prixes/ knockout tours and share them online. i dont know the math but theres probably a bajillion possible sets you could make out of these courses

They showed in the Direct that in VS mode you can customize the track order which will use different connections if you want connections

yeah I know that but I want to actually save those loadouts instead of having to keep notes on the loadouts I like and input them in manually every time
in MK8DX I could select "in order" and go from there but there cant even be an "in order" for a game like this

I also wonder how robust VS mode customization will be since, there are 2 links between non adjacent courses in the default sets that cut through other courses (moo moo meadows and bowsers castle)
will we be able to cut through any course or can custom layouts only connect adjacent courses?

mb theres 3, you also cut through great ? block ruins in a rally. though does that course and bowsers castle even count if theyre both floating in the sky and you can presumably drive beneath them?
am i thinking too much about s game that isnt even out?
