they might not want our scummy leaders back but the people have sympathy for the people - same way we don't go around calling Germans Supporters of something from 75 years ago.,.., they're actually very likeable ,.,
What’s more surprising is that after Brexit, its main promoter (we all know who I'm referring to) is back with more ambitious and disastrous plans for the UK. Do you really think he’s still appealing to UK voters?
we now know for sure and real that the news tells us we are thinking what it wants us to be thinking - quotes similar to "why haven't you got the new Invisible Rhino Album yet? everyone else has it even if they don't admit it - you are the odd one out and you will lose friends if you don't buy it"
No, it stopped in 2010 with the “Citizens United” decision…it’s bleeding out now, as the last couple elections have shown us. That’s when we turned into an Oligarchy (by definition).
Also why the US needs some serious campaign finance reform.
Have you noticed it’s already crumbling I predicted this France and Germany will leave then maybe join with us a trade agreement not Government that’s where it went wrong. No one in Europe voted for it
The jury´s still out on that one. Starmer´s only looking for a new trade deal, and for that UK will have to follow EU laws to the fullest - a red line for a trade relationship.
All I reasonably ask is that UK has a fixed point in time for the value of Brexit to be formally reviewed and say "Is this working?" - If yes then continue, if no then create a plan to rejoin. I'd say 5 years outside EU is a fair run and good point to review. That'll be 31st Jan 2025.
Also getting sick of the fools telling us to give Starmer more time when it’s running out fast; and he has an overwhelming majority which means he could get any legislation through right now.
It's hard to understand. Labour remainers fool themselves with "this is what he needs to say to win the election but, after that...".
After that came the "Starmer is playing the long game here".
But he doesn't have time for the long game. It's either rejoin and economic growth or loose the next GE
Considering how much Starmer has ignored Labour membership over the last few years. I suspect the real pressure has to be on PLP MP’s to be aware they’ll lose seats if they back Starmer’s stubbornness.
There will be terms though and, if that’s the path the UK goes down, those terms are unlikely to be the same as they were before - why would they be? I’d hazard a guess there will be things that the UK would need to concede to rejoin - potentially things Brits won’t necessarily like.
Unbelievably ignorant comment. The EU has never "told" the UK what to do. We were part of that organisation. We had elected representatives at the EU table. We were part of something great, something where we agreed on things that were mutually beneficial. Now, we are nobody.
Speaking to a hardline Brexit supporter at work and he was moaning about the results of the general election saying it was based on lies and therefore needs to be overturned, but ask about Brexit and it is the will of the people and, therefore, can never be overturned
If a Brexit supporter could actually have a sensible discussion that doesn't involve "you lost we won" or "you still crying then?" Or descending into insults then they could gain some credibility.
That fact that they can't says a lot about them really
we can only hope that all the fervour he was campaigning with dies down - what's reassuring is the number of Conservatives telling worried people "Don't worry it was all exaggerated - it will be BAU" - let's hope we can get them all making that argument.,.,

We need to start the steps to rejoin
Also why the US needs some serious campaign finance reform.
It was tried, it didn’t work. So rejoin is the logical step.
Something will give. I hope sooner than later.

Although you are right. The best way to change path is to get rid of Starmer. Before the election.
Voted for by bigots
Implemented by idiots
No wonder it failed
we trashed those of course.,.,.
