That drawing seems aged, do we know it's origin? Art is a big deal like that. I think people use different metaphorical depictions through the ages.

I suspect the Ukrainian peasants and the Kulaks were more than a trifle disenchanted with Communism after a bit, as well. Alas, none of their testimony survived the ravages of the Holodomor or the Gulag.

Suggesting one system is pure evil whilst the other is pure virtue is absurdly simplistic.

Its gotten more efficient and squeezing the money and the labor out of people at lower and lower costs to itself while keeping more and more of the profit.
