Jack Smith is folding up his operation. Probably has no choice, but this is a bad outcome for the United States. Not only does Trump escape consequences, but some pretty sketchy decisions won't be tested and over-ruled. The most obvious is Judge Canon's absurd dismissal of the documents case.
