I don't think we should be labelling anything made by AI as art. I just call it images and the "artists" prompters. Make the language we use to describe them as sterile and bland as what it refers to.
Man, it's nice to see Ghibli fanart made by humans in an era where most of them are now made with AI! AI art generators are based on Ethereum, which is also used by NFTs, and therefore harmful to the environment. We shouldn't even call AI pictures "art", as they aren't even made by real artists.
I added few extra frames compared to the other version I posted in the past and added the departure sog as well, so it's like a Bluesky exclusive again :)

Yeah, most of Kiki is about growing up and becoming an adult, as well the depression/ feeling of meaninglessness that can come with that.
It's just that I personally would've minded losing my magic less than losing my best friend talking cat.
If you value relationships very highly, instantly losing the ability to talk to a best friend and never regaining it is probably one of the more horrifying things that could happen to someone.
It makes sense, she needs magic for work and working is needed to be an adult, still depressing tho.
Totally, I agree. One of those Ghibli movies that has a bittersweet ending yeah? It's kinda unique in that way though, maybe that's why I like it so much

Nausicaä also achieved a very different vibe towards the end, can recommend if you haven't seen it
A lot of superpowers completely neglect the amount of bank you can make just from delivery services alone. teleportation, flight, super speed, super strength, or even possessing a magic broom :)
