I'm from a tiny coal mining town a good hour south of Springfield, so that's the area I was thinking about. You're right, tho-- big state to consider. My town grew up around coal and is now dying as the mines did. It's heart breaking.

I'm watching my downstate county, Madison, slowly turn red. Pritzker could stand on the corner, hand out $100 bills, and these people would still hate him. He has to work harder here, I want my blue county back.
