I was born, raised, and still live in the next town over from SIU. The university makes this area diverse and more liberal, but we need help. Carbondale's economy and businesses are suffering badly.

Proud Saluki Alum and also worked at SIU for 20+ years. My son currently works there and is worried he is going to lose his job if the Nazis dismantle the Dept of Education. I hope there's something in place to save our state schools.
